Cricket Board of India (BCCI) chairman Sourav Ganguly has revealed about the upcoming tours of the Indian team during an interview.
Sourav Ganguly said that after the final match of the ICC World Test Championship, the Indian team will visit Sri Lanka, where they will play 3 ODIs and 5 T20 Internationals.
There would be no match for 40–45 days between the final of the ICC World Championship and the tour of England.
When Ganguly was questioned about getting the IPL, he said no, it is not possible because the Indian team will be visiting Sri Lanka during this time.
In an interview to a sports website, Sourav Ganguly said about the India-Sri Lanka series, that we cannot organize the IPL in July, because during that time the Indian team can play three ODIs and five T20 Internationals against Sri Lanka.
The team led by Virat Kohli will go to Sri Lanka, where they will play 3 ODIs under the ICC World Super League.
